  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1½ cups chopped pecans
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Make the crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish and chill for 10–15 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla. Fold in whipped topping and spread over the chilled crust.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter until bubbling. Remove from heat and whisk in eggs. Stir in pecans and a pinch of salt.
  4. Pour the pecan filling over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.
  5. Slice into bars using a warm knife before serving.
