  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 egg

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated and excess water squeezed out
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Fresh dill, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, red onion, garlic, parsley, mint, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper until combined.
  2. Add the egg and mix gently without overworking the mixture.
  3. Shape into 20 meatballs (about 1 to 1.5 inches each).
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry meatballs until golden brown on all sides (about 4-5 minutes per side) and fully cooked (internal temp should reach 165°F).
  5. For the tzatziki sauce, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper in a bowl and mix well.
  6. Chill tzatziki for at least 15 minutes before serving alongside meatballs.
