Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in milk and vanilla.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, then add the remaining batter and top with the remaining cinnamon-sugar.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before slicing.
