  • 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 6 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream (room temperature)
  • 2 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 6-inch round baking pans or line them with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually incorporate cocoa powder and salt, then fold in flour until just combined.
  4. Divide the batter between prepared pans and bake for about 25 minutes. Cool in pans for ten minutes before transferring to wire racks.
