  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal or cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (preferably 2-4 hours).
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper and grease lightly with olive oil.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade (reserve the marinade) and place in baking dish. Pour remaining marinade over the chicken.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
