  • 2 cups chilled mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 beaten egg
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. If needed, prepare your mashed potatoes in advance and chill them in the fridge.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the chilled mashed potatoes with mozzarella or cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into balls using about one tablespoon of the mixture per ball.
  4. Roll each ball in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray the potato balls with cooking oil and arrange them in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.
